Oroton ® began trading as Boyd Lane & Co in Sydney in 1938. Boyd Lane &Co specialised in importing luxurious and high quality fabrics from Europe to meet the need of the burgeoning fashion industry.

Understanding and interpreting international trends for a distinct and distinguished ‘O’ audience remains the central tenet of the Company today, and is represented in everything we do. From our authentic fabric and leather sourcing , to the quality and style of our stitching, buckles and zips, we are both true to current fashions, but also true to our ‘O’ customer.
